Our stainless steel Dimple Heat Transfer surfaces are proven to provide an overall heat transfer surface that increases allowable working pressure in stainless steel vessels.

Dimple Heat Transfer Surface Features

For better maximum allowable working pressure, we ensure time-tested features for each overall heat transfer surface:

  • Provided with 1/2" hole & 1/4" pillow height
  • Provided in 2" x 2", 2–1/2" x 2–1/2", 3" x 3", or 4" x 4" spot spacing
  • Provided “in the flat” or “rolled”
  • Available with edges crimped down for easier fitup & welding
  • Available with optional dimple overall heat transfer surfaces welded to cylinder and ASME Code stamped

Dimple Heat Transfer Surface Construction Materials

To ensure an overall heat transfer, we use proven construction materials for our stainless steel dimple heat transfer surfaces:

  • T–304L
  • T–316L
  • 14 gauge thickness
  • 12 gauge thickness
